For a very long time, I was compiling mame successfully from git on this Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit machine. After mame 0.197, I started hitting a lot of compile errors that didn't clear up with new commits. Then, mame changed compiler requirements, so I've been retrying to build mame using gcc-7 and gcc-8 and even clang with no successful full compile since 0.197.Last night I tried again. Deleted entire mame dir, did clean git checkout.
