Could. But Snerdley had work to do. He was able to harness his strength and the power of his voice and his love for Rush into that podcast about his friend and boss. For me and many others, the podcast was a can’t-miss weekly show – a connection to Rush that was needed after his passing. The episodes feature stories and memories about Rush that will make you laugh and cry, with many surprises along the way. It was labor of love for Snerdley and it told the story of who Rush really was. Those of us who listened to him knew what kind of person he was. We knew his heart. But his heart was even bigger than we imagined. Now that the podcast episodes are completed, what is Snerdley up to now? Well, besides being a Senior Partner of Golden Creative Communications, LLC, a management firm representing international known recording artists, he has many irons in the fire… Most importantly, you’ll be happy to know that he is broadcasting on the radio. On August 23rd of 2021, he returned to WABC and sister station WLIR-FM to host a one-hour afternoon show. So you can tune in and listen to him every day now. It was also announced that 77-WABC/New York and Snerdley recently formed the “Golden-TIPP Poll” which will focus on issue-specific surveys of public opinion involving emerging political policies. In addition to that, Snerdley appears on Fox News as a commentator once in a while in his fresh threads and cool hats. He’s also involved in publishing Limbaugh’s ongoing newsletter and did book tours for his new book called “Rush on the Radio – A Tribute from his Sidekick for 30 Years.” He also has a political action committee called “New Journey” which he founded. Their website describes the PAC as a “nationwide action organization which operates both in and outside of election cycles. Our purpose is the realignment of the black American vote with candidates and issues that support conservative values, and by consequence, help the black community.” And if you go to the James Golden website, you will see that you can book Snerdley for events and that he also has a blog. Wow. There’s no rest for this guy. Like Rush and Trump, he’s the Energizer Bunny. And I’m not even done yet… I admit that I was really hoping that he would take over the golden E.I.B. microphone but now I can see he’s too busy for that. The latest things I have found out about him doing are a music podcast called “A Golden Valentine” which he worked on with his niece, Tasheyla McLean, where they play some smooth Valentine’s Day music..
